Upcoming Project Argus to promote counter terrorism advice

The BID is working closely with the Met police to facilitate a Project Argus counter terrorism awareness event for businesses in the area.

The recent Paris terrorist attacks in November have again highlighted the need for greater business preparedness in the modern working environment. The HammersmithLondon and Met police training that took place at the Novotel following the attacks offered an overview of the current situation but more comprehensive advice was promised.

Project Argus is a table top exercise designed to further educate and advise businesses on what to do in the event of a terrorist attack and the right steps to be taken to protect your staff. Argus has been presented in the area before and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback for its real world scenarios and frank but very reassuring look at the reality of a possible attack. Plans are being made to present Argus again for Hammersmith businesses and we strongly advise that businesses send different staff to attend.

The event is designed at a range of positions within a company and is beneficial to all, more details to follow.
