20 Jun BID creating bespoke Business Continuity Plans for Hammersmith
HammersmithLondon is currently in the process of designing and creating bespoke Business Continuity Plans for the Hammersmith area that will be distributed to all local area businesses to help them be more resilient in the event of a major incident.
Following feedback from businesses, there is a clear feeling that businesses will be alerted to an incident and guided through should one occur. Unfortunately this will not necessarily be the case as emergency services will be focused on managing the scene. As it stands it will fall to the businesses to create their own plans for the preparation of the businesses and staff to cope with an incident and HammersmithLondon will be helping with this.
The creation of an area wide business continuity plan that takes into account the needs of the businesses and how to keep them safe will go far in helping business recover from a significant event. The plans are being looked at currently and should be completed by the end of summer.
