Celebrate Clean Air Day 2019 this Thursday in Hammersmith
Electronic vehicles, eco-friendly detergents and a plastic bag amnesty are all a part of the day’s events.
Join the day’s activities that involve:
Electric Vehicles
Try EV – electric vehicles will be available to view and experts will be available to ask questions about electric car features and updates.
Planet Minimal
The Planet Minimal electric van will be setting up for members of the public to bring their own containers and fill up with laundry detergents and washing up liquid. The company currently supplies stores across London including Eat17 in Hammersmith.
Air Quality
A stall will be set up to share information about local air quality. Learn and ask questions about what measures that are being taken across London to improve air quality and sign your clean air pledges.
Plastic Bag Amnesty
Swap your plastic bags for sustainable and reusable alternatives that will help the environment.
Hammersmith ZEN
We will be inviting businesses to sign up to find out more about the Hammersmith Zero Emissions Network (ZEN) – following successful Mayor’s Air Quality Round 3 funding application.
Join the activities set to take place on Thursday 20th June. The event will take place on Lyric Square between 12pm-3pm.
