Small businesses continue to face enormous challenges, whilst playing an important part in London’s recovery. The financial hardship caused by COVID-19 will continue to be felt as London slowly rallies.
Londoners want to support the local independent shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and creative institutions that they love and value in their communities.
Pay It Forward London is part of a wider package of help that the Mayor of London is offering to small businesses. The package includes the London Business Hub which is delivering tailored one-to-one advisory sessions with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them to recover from the pandemic.
Pay It Forward gives small/independent businesses in the borough the opportunity to register and crowd-fund to support their business, with match funding available up to £10K from Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
It is quick and easy to sign up and start a fundraising campaign. The platform is open to all businesses based in London, and match funding is available to businesses based in specified boroughs including Croydon, Hammersmith & Fulham and Southwark.
