Tis’ the season to be jolly and Hammersmith has a lot to be merry for this year as Free Gift Wrapping, a unique ‘Giving Tree’ and Christmas carollers are all part of the festive fun on offer this December.
The HammersmithLondon Business Improvement District (BID) has organised a series of festive events and initiatives to enhance Hammersmith town centre this Christmas, supporting the retail offer and cementing Hammersmith’s reputation as a go-to shopping destination.
Once again the Christmas cabin will take pride of place in Lyric Square with the BID’s helpful elves wrapping Hammersmith bought presents for free. All you have to is show them a receipt as proof of purchase and they will do the hard work for you. This service will be available from 12pm – 7pm from Monday, Dec 7 to Wednesday, Dec 23.
Not only will HammersmithLondon’s 25ft Christmas tree illuminate Hammersmith with its sparkling light display but this year it will also be revealing great offers in the town. Visit the tree after downloading the BID’s FREE E-Privilege Card and you will be able to unlock dozens of Christmas deals on your Smartphone.

On Monday, December 7 more than 90 school children from Bute House will be singing a wonderful line-up of Christmas classics in Lyric Square from 1.15pm – 1.45pm. Do not miss these talented youngsters as they sing their hearts out for shoppers and workers.
