26 Mar Hammersmith businesses vote YES for the BID
Hammersmith BID is delighted to announce the result of our Renewal Ballot.
We appreciate the strong backing of our Hammersmith business community, which has overwhelmingly voted YES to continue the BID for another five years.
This propels the BID into a fourth term, commencing on 1 April 2021, and reinforces our position as one of the longest established, most experienced BIDs in the UK.
An impressive 86% of votes cast were in favour of Hammersmith BID, which represents 80% of the aggregate rateable value.
This support is particularly valued against the backdrop of a global pandemic and national lockdown, due to which many of our businesses are temporarily closed or working remotely.
The BID team will now focus on delivering on its project areas, as referenced in its Business Plan 2021 – 2026.
