07 May Lyric Hammersmith re-launches in style
The Lyric Hammersmith re-launched its £20million refurbishment in style during its successful opening weekend.
Corks popped and champagne flowed as Hammersmith’s premier theatre celebrated the completion of its massive refurbishment and the arrival of its newest production, Bugsy Malone across the weekend of April 25.
HammersmithLondon proudly sponsored the opening weekend which was attended by partners, local businesses and VIPs of stage and screen including Dame Joan Collins and Sir Alan Parker, the original writer and director of the 1975 Bugsy musical.
As the Business Improvement District for the town centre, HammersmithLondon has proudly supported the innovative work of the Lyric Hammersmith for almost 10 years now. The Lyric’s executive director Jessica Hepburn has been a fervent champion of the BID and as the longest serving member on the board has helped to steer the direction of HammersmithLondon for the mutual benefit of the town centre.
