28 Apr May Wellbeing activities for BID businesses
The BID is continuing its Wellbeing programme through May, seeking to provide home, hybrid and office workers with a choice of beneficial activities.
Following a year of disruption, with increased pressures on employers and employees, we are mindful of the need to to support our businesses however we can. Our Wellbeing events provide opportunities for reflection, fitness, relaxation or fun, and can be enjoyed as part of a virtual team; or individually.
April’s Wellbeing campaign included morning yoga, mindfulness sessions, and a workshop on tackling stress – and we have taken some of the more popular activities and extended them into May, as well as introducing new classes.
On Monday 10th, 17th and 24th May, at either 1pm or 6.30pm, the BID will be hosting a new Drawing Class series, this time focusing on sketching animals. The three sessions will cover farm, domestic and wild animals, and participants are welcome to source their own models! Skills taught will include composition, pattern, shading and creating texture. Budding artists are encouraged to email in a photo of their favourite drawing a the end of each session, for a chance to win a hamper of art supplies! For more detail, or to book, read more.
Due to popular demand, the Mindfulness sessions on Wednesday lunchtimes have been extended throughout May. Attracting an increasing following, these 30 minute guided classes allow a space for reflection, relaxation and calm. To find out more, or to book in, read more.
More classes will be added throughout May, so check our Wellbeing page for updates and more details. Classes are free to BID member employees.
