Parcels to Home launches

Hammersmith BID has today opened its enhanced free Shopping Delivery offer, available for our Privilege Cardholders.

Designed to run through the current lockdown and beyond to Christmas, the seasonal Parcels to Home service will help both Christmas shoppers, and those assisting relatives or neighbours who are shielding and need essential supplies.

Parcels to Home will be delivered by the BID’s Parcels not Pollution e-cargobike delivery rider, who will be on-hand in Hammersmith town centre to deliver purchases, or bags of groceries, to an address in the borough. The service is free – but with a limited number of slots per day, will need to be pre-booked using a dedicated form.

The service  is easy to use. Applicants need to follow these simple steps:

  • Fill in the short request form
  • Successful applicants will receive an email confirming time and location of pick up
  • The shopper will meet our rider at the arranged location and transfer the shopping into the e–cargo bike
  • The shopping will be delivered, free of charge, to the agreed address in the borough

Whether you are shopping for yourself and need a helping hand to get your bags home, or are shopping on behalf of friends and relatives who may be shielding, Parcels to Home will be a seasonal helping hand in Hammersmith town centre. If you do not have a Privilege Card, which is also free, simply apply here.
