17 Mar Protect your business: Free anti-terrorism workshop
Join the BID and the Met Police for a free anti-terrorism workshop on Friday, March 27.
Project Argus is a real simulation of an attack in order to plan and prepare for a safe and effective response if it were necessary.
The workshop will provide businesses with a unique opportunity to learn how to protect themselves, their staff and customers, whether a national chain or small businesses.
Project Argus is aimed at managers and assistant managers in businesses located within crowded places in urban settings.
Whether in retail or office based environments, Project Argus can confer benefits in terms of raising awareness about the threat from terrorism and provides practical advice on preventing, handling and recovering from an attack.
Venue: CH2M Hill, 43 Brook Green, London, W6 7EF
Date: Friday, March 27th 2015
Time: 9AM – registration, 9.30AM start

Project Argus has been run in the area before and received excellent feedback for its frank but constructive portrayal of an emergency situation, it is designed to make delegates feel safer and more prepared in their working environment.
We always urge businesses to stay vigilant and report any suspicious items or behaviour to the police by calling 999 and quoting ‘Operation Lighting’ or the NACTSO office on 0207 931 7142.
