Serious Violence Duty Consultation with Community Partners

Serious Violence Duty Consultation with Community Partners

Following a public consultation in July 2019, the Government announced it would bring forward legislation introducing a new Serious Violence Duty.

New statutory responsibilities have been placed on local authorities to ensure they adopt a partnership approach to tackling serious violence and exploitation affecting young people under 25, domestic abuse and sexual violence.

If you are a stakeholder working with communities across the borough, Hammersmith & Fulham Council invites you to fill out the survey. * Deadline: 5 pm, Monday 14 August 2023.

This consultation highlights funding opportunities as part of the Serious Violence Duty, and the council would like to hear your views on projects and initiatives.

Additional Information

Further consultation will happen on Friday 8 September at the Hammersmith & Fulham Serious Violence Duty Working Group. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email.
