19 Apr Stalking Awareness Week
Stalking Awareness Week – ‘Every woman has a right to feel safe in her own city’
24 – 29 April 2023 marks Stalking Awareness Week. Stalking is a pattern of persistent unwanted intrusive behaviour that engenders fear and is something one in five women and as many as one in 10 men have experienced during their lifetime.
The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham is working with Suzy Lamplugh Trust to facilitate an online session to raise awareness of stalking. Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK’s pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority, established in 1986, following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client to view a property and never returned.
During the session, Suzy Lamplugh Trust will:
-
-
-
-
- Offer expert advice on how to spot the signs of victims
- Provide top tips for victims of stalking
- Give specialist support
- Provide information about stalking protection orders

The online event is open to anyone living or working in Hammersmith & Fulham. Please click here for more information and to sign up for the upcoming event.
