18 Apr Hammersmith Feastival and Traffic-free Spring Market Day
The local community is invited to Hammersmith Feastival on Friday 17 May and Saturday 18 May.
Friday 17 May (11am-9pm)
Global Food Quarter on Lyric Square, with live music and seating. The event includes international street food with brunch, lunch and supper markets. There will also be cookery demonstrations, food tasting and a live performance stage.
Saturday 18 May (10am-6pm)
There will be over 150 stalls along a traffic-free King Street and in Lyric Square, including crafts, jewellery, home accessories, boutique fashion and art from local independent businesses. The fun will be boosted by live music and performances on the Lyric Square stage. Street entertainment along King Street will include children’s workshops, live music, stilt walkers, comedy and more.
Hammersmith BID will have a dedicated stall on King Street and the team will be on hand to share the latest Privilege Card offers and encourage the community to vote for their favourite lunchtime eatery in this year’s I Love Lunch competition. We will also have a few ‘I Love Lunch’ contestants joining us on the day, providing free taster samples for lucky passers by!
