The Great British Spring Clean 2023 will happen 17th of March – the 2nd of April 2023. The Great British Spring Clean, run by Keep Britain Tidy, is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign, where collecting one bag of litter can make a difference!
2022 Green Volunteering: Litter Picking
In 2022, we joined the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign. Last year we collected 43 bags of litter, including 247 cans, 276 bottles, large miscellaneous items (e.g. wet rags and abandoned highway signs), and 2,000+ cigarette butts! Thank you to Disney, Liberty Global, 245 Hammersmith Road, and HSBC for signing up for our Litter Picking events!
2023 pledge
We are determined to continue changing behaviour by spotlighting the problem and offering creative solutions for improving the environment on everyone’s doorstep. As part of the Great British Spring Clean, we have pledged to collect 10 bags of litter, with the help of Hammersmith’s community. We believe it is people’s right to live and work in places they can be proud of, leading us to join #LitterHeroes of 2023!
