No More Sexual Harassment Campaign – Walk and Talks in Hammersmith & Fulham

Ensuring the safety of all who live and work in our town centre is at the forefront of Hammersmith BID’s work. We partner with members of the business community and other key stakeholders such as Hammersmith & Fulham Council and Safer Business Network to create a safe and more accessible town centre.

We are pleased to share that Hammersmith & Fulham Council has launched its No More Sexual Harassment campaign. The campaign makes street harassment an offence punishable with a fine of up to £1,000. As part of the campaign, Hammersmith businesses, employees and residents have all been invited to a series of upcoming ‘Walk & Talks’ led by Law Enforcement Team (LET) officers. These sessions will provide businesses with the opportunity to raise any concerns they may have regarding the safety of women and girls, highlight which areas feel unsafe and indicate where they might have witnessed sexual harassment.

More information about the upcoming ‘Walk & Talks’, and a link to the Eventbrite sign-up pages, can be found below.

Friday 18 Oct, 11am-1pm, Lyric Square W6

Thursday 7 Nov, 2pm-4pm, Shepherds Bush tube station
