28 Jan Small tap, big change supported by Vintners Foundation
In January 2021, the trustees of Small tap, big change were delighted to receive a grant of £5000, awarded by the Chairman of the Vintners’ Foundation Committee.
The donation will be distributed equally by the four charities supported by Small tap, big change; Glass Door, the Upper Room, Baron’s Court Project and St Andrew’s Fulham.
Between them, these organisations provide services and support for homeless and vulnerable individuals, exclusively in Hammersmith and Fulham. Their services include funding additional beds, hot meals, washing facilities, outreach services and life skills coaching.
Patricia Bench, BID Director of Hammersmith BID said:
“We are extremely grateful for the generosity shown by the Vintners Foundation to Small tap, big change. Whilst we are all coping with COVID and lockdown, it is easy to forget the most vulnerable in our communities. But our partner charities have not forgotten the homeless and supporting them at this time with this donation is more important than ever.”
Small tap, big change is a central part of the BID’s commitment to Community and Partnerships; something that will be built upon throughout a fourth term. For more information about this part of the BID’s work, download our Business Plan here.
